Fifth International Symposium on Materials from Renewables

A group of faculty members from North Dakota State University (NDSU) is organizing the 5th International Symposium on Materials from Renewables (ISMR), which will be held at the Memorial Union on NDSU campus in Fargo, ND, United States on July 15-16, 2025.

This state-of-the-art symposium aims to cover aspects of fundamental and applied research related to renewable and biobased materials, including renewable monomers and polymers, sustainable polymeric materials, and nanomaterials/nanocomposites from renewable resources, as well as their broad applications in the fields of science and engineering.

ISMR serves as a key platform for discussions on biobased materials, a rapidly growing area as researchers and industries increasingly seek alternatives to petroleum-based products. The attendees will gather to exchange ideas on the latest trends in advanced sustainable materials derived from natural and renewable sources.
